Charming Old Town Flat in Central Copenhagen
About this place
The space: You enter through a private hallway with hooks for coats and room to leave your shoes and bags. From there, the home opens into a generous living and dining room, the heart of the apartment. Tall windows fill the space with daylight, while original wood plank floors and panelled walls give it genuine old Copenhagen character. There is a large, comfortable corner sofa, a flatscreen TV, and a solid dining table that seats six. The separate kitchen is fully equipped for cooking your own meals, with an oven, electric hob, microwave and kettle. The bedroom is calm and light, with a comfortable double bed, two windows, and a proper workspace: a spacious desk that adjusts in height and an ergonomic office chair. The bathroom is finished in classic white tile with a warm terracotta floor, and includes a full bathtub with shower.
The building and courtyard: The apartment sits within a beautiful, well kept historic building from 1797, complete with a characterful winding staircase (please note there is no elevator). Step out into the shared cobbled courtyard, a quiet, green pocket away from the street, with tables and chairs where you can sit out on a warm day.
The location: You genuinely could not be more central. From the front door you are just a few minutes walk from Strøget, Rådhuspladsen (City Hall Square), the canals at Gammel Strand, and countless cafés, restaurants and bars. The Metro (Rådhuspladsen and Gammel Strand stations) puts the whole city and the airport within easy reach, and Tivoli Gardens, Nyhavn, Christiansborg Palace and the National Museum are all within a comfortable stroll.

Not going back Positive: Good location, although noisy for the work they are currently doing around the building. Negative: Place was not clean and did not have what is good-to-have in a place to stay. We arrived and the washing machine was on with clothes in it. No hand towels and no hand towels hanger. We had to put towels on the chair or in the entrance. No top bed linen only bottom. We had to cover ourself with some doonas and it was not hygenic at all. No bins in the bathroom, no shower gel only an almost empty bottle of shampoo and the shower was dirty and smelly. It would have been nice to have a full mirror in the house, some curtains to have privacy and also reduce the morning light.
Logement correct pour un court séjour Positive: L’emplacement très proche centre ville, quartier très sympa familial calme en semaine, plus bruyant le samedi soir mais logique! Tout peut se faire à pieds. L’hôte est très avenant et réactif en cas de souci. Appartement bien sans plus car pas de salle de bain réelle mais juste une douche dans les wc donc pas de lavabo juste un lave main et le problème est qu’on inonde tout en faisant la douche tellement la pièce est minuscule. Le lit est collé à 3 murs donc pas simple de l’utiliser quand on est 2. Mais Copenhague est une ville extraordinaire donc cela compense! On n’a pas été beaucoup dans le logement. Negative: Le ménage vraiment sommaire! Mais j’ai prévenu le propriétaire de cela donc maintenant il le sait. L’absence de salle de bain réelle, le peu d’équipement en ustensiles de cuisine même pas une passoire pour égoutter du riz ou des pâtes. Pas de machine à café réelle non plus. Pas de sèche cheveux car pas de salle de bain. Du linge séchait dans le salon quand on est arrivé donc j’ai plié tout cela quand sec!! Booking devrait préciser pour la salle de bain car c’est surprenant en 2026 dans une telle ville!!
Aprop del llac. Net i restaurat. Amb molta llum. Molt tranquil. Positive: Cuina està tota restaurada i és espaiosa. Te molta llum. Llit es còmode. Bany també restaurat. Negative: No te ascensor. Falten unes Coixineres per dormir. Hi ha uns coixins molt prims i petits.
Positive: This place is so cozy and nice. I liked the neighborhood and the proximity to the city center as well.
Dejligt placeret lejlighed, god kommunikation med udlejer. Desværre mangler lejligheden i høj grad belysning Positive: Beliggenheden er perfekt. Kommunikationen med udlejer var fin. Tilsendt materiale om regler og indtjekning var godt. Negative: Der mangler belysning i spisestue, stue og soveværelse. Vi købte stearinlys for at kunne se noget ved bordet. Stuen var meget mørk (det underlige loftslys, samme som i soveværelset, var meget dunkelt), så der opholdte vi os slet ikke. Jeg har aldrig boet på et hotel /lejlighed som ikke havde sengelamper, hvis man vil kigge på andet end sin telefon, fx en bog, må man have lommelygte med. Sidstnævnte brugte vi også for at orientere os i vores kufferter, når det var mørkt udenfor. Der mangler knager på badeværelset til at hænge håndklæder på. Køkkenet mangler skåle. Der var fint med service, og særligt vinglas. Seng, dyner og puder var meget gode.
Decepción Positive: Su ubicación cerca de transporte público y céntrico Negative: Falta menaje. Estaba sucio, solo nos pusieron un juego de toallas para dos personas. La sensación es que el precio que pagas es demasiado para lo que ofrece y el estado general del apartamento. Quedamos bastante decepcionados con la estancia
