What decides what your home can earn
The estimate is based on what you tell us about the property. These are the things that matter most.
Location
District, street and distance to the metro and station matter a lot, to tenants and guests alike.
Size and layout
Square metres, number of rooms and how many people the home can take.
Condition and furnishing
A well-kept home can be rented out on better terms than one that needs work. For guests, the home must be furnished and equipped.
What makes it special
A balcony, a view, a lift, a quiet street or being close to the water and parks.
The rules for your home
For long-term rental, Danish rent law sets limits on the rent. Your own permanent home can be rented out to guests for at most 70 days a year through platforms that report to the Danish Tax Agency.
Long-term or short-term?
You can get an estimate for both. Here is the difference in short.
Long-term rental
One tenant for at least 3 months at a time. We find and screen the tenant, and you pay 8.5% of the monthly rent including VAT.
Short-term rental
Guests on shorter stays through Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo. We run it, and you pay 17% of rental income. Cleaning, linen and supplies are billed separately.

How do you work out what my home can earn?
We look at what you tell us: location, size, rooms, condition and furnishing, and whether you want to rent out long-term or to guests. From that, someone on our team prepares a personal estimate, which you receive within 24 hours.
Is the estimate a guarantee of the rent?
No. The estimate is our assessment based on your details. The rent you end up with depends on the property, the market and, for long-term rental, the rent-setting rules that apply to your specific home.
What does it cost to have you rent out the home?
Long-term rental costs 8.5% of the monthly rent including VAT, and Airbnb management costs 17% of rental income. Cleaning, linen, supplies and maintenance are billed separately at cost or agreed rates.
